    Digital learning in Uzbekistan: challenges and lessons learnt | Nazokat Kasymova, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies The Uzbek higher education system and its institutions were able to respond promptly to the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Since 2016, the national Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) team has contributed to an exploration of digital education approaches and helped to build capacity and develop a policy framework. This article, by Nazokat Kasymova from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, describes how the pandemic has been an accelerator for positive changes in this area and the extent to which higher education institutions have met the challenges.
